Saturday May 30, 2026 we will offer our Advances Beekeeper Course. The course offers instruction on hive health, nutrition, pest management, genetics, and increasing hive number. Guest speaker Teresa Martin, author or "Dead Bees Don't Make Honey" will be presenting mite control and IPM pest management in morning lectures. Followed by presentations on colony increase strategies, and queen production. Afternoon laboratories include hive health evaluation, mite reduction strategies, and queen production. Lectures start at 9am, Lunch is at noon. Hands on labs follow lunch for three hours. Sign up today. Bring a coffee cup, lawn chair, protective gear, and smoker and hive tool.
