Saturday April 26, 2025 we will offer our Beginner Beekeeper Course. The course is designed to prepare a new beekeeper with the skills needed to start and maintain their hives in their first year. Topics include installing nucleus hives and package bees, nutrition, health, and apiary set up. We typically have presentations from several beekeepers in the community. In previous years we have have between 30 and 60 people attend the class. Lectures are from 8am till noon, there is a light lunch and then we will break to have some hands on demonstrations.
